Disability Respite

At Ross Creek Respite, we are committed to delivering supports that uphold respect, diversity, and inclusion, while promoting choice, protecting human rights, and ensuring equal opportunity for all participants. We provide emergency, short-term, and long-term support options, including respite and Supported Independent Living (SIL), ensuring flexible care that meets individual needs.

Our supports are tailored to each participant, focusing on building independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing. We take a person-centred approach, working closely with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to ensure supports are consistent, meaningful, and aligned with individual goals.

We have experience supporting participants with a wide range of needs, including those requiring structured environments and higher levels of support. Our team prioritises safety, routine, and clear communication, creating a stable and supportive environment where participants can thrive.

Whether support is provided in our peaceful Ross Creek setting, in the home, or within the community, we aim to deliver reliable, high-quality care that adapts as needs change. Our goal is to not only support day-to-day living, but to create opportunities for growth, connection, and long-term positive outcomes.

Age care Respite

We also provide aged care respite services, recognising the growing need for flexible, high-quality support for older individuals and their families. As demand continues to grow, we have identified a gap between traditional aged care services and palliative care, where individuals and families often require additional support, flexibility, and continuity of care.

Our approach focuses on providing compassionate, person-centred support during this important stage, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect at all times. We work closely with families and health professionals to support changing needs, whether that involves short-term respite, ongoing care, or support during transitional periods.

Our aged care respite services can include assistance with daily living, companionship, routine support, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. We aim to reduce pressure on families and carers while ensuring individuals receive consistent, high-quality care that prioritises wellbeing, comfort, and quality of life.

Disability Supports

We provide a range of disability supports tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences, and goals, with a strong focus on building independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing. Our supports are flexible and designed to adapt as needs change, ensuring participants receive the right level of support at the right time.

This includes assistance with social and community participation, supporting participants to engage in activities, build social connections, and develop confidence in community settings. Whether it’s attending appointments, recreational activities, or simply getting out and about, we help participants stay connected and involved.

Our capacity building supports are aimed at developing practical life skills that promote long-term independence. This can include communication skills, decision-making, problem-solving, routine development, and increasing confidence in everyday situations.

We also provide assistance with daily living, supporting participants with personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and structured routine. Our approach focuses on encouraging independence while providing the right level of support to ensure safety and comfort.

In addition, we offer reliable and flexible transport services to appointments, programs, and community activities. This removes barriers to access and ensures participants can stay engaged, maintain routines, and achieve their goals.

All supports are delivered in a respectful, person-centred manner, with a strong emphasis on consistency, safety, and achieving meaningful outcomes.
